Garden in the Residence of Beizi Gun
Located at 31 Xinjiekou Dongjie in Xicheng District, this was originally the new residence of Price Cheng or the home of Beizi Hongjing. During the reign of Emperor Jiaqing, it was bestowed to Princess Zhuangjing, the 4th daughter of the emperor,thus it was also called Residence of the 4th Princess. Later, it became Beizi Gun’s Residence.
In the period of Emperor Jiaqing, the Yuhe River water was led into the courtyard. There is a flower terrace on the southern and western bank of the Jishuitan Lake, and a hillock stands on its eastern bank.
